Besides the "gyro transmission"  it also has the wrong bumper guards on the front..  They should be slanted.

I am in the midst of cleaning house so it is a mess right now so I couldn't locate my photos at present but I have photos of a 52 or 53 Kaiser built for one of the studios  that was split in two with small wheels at the split that let them film people in the back seat as well as the back of the front seat and the people in it.  I don't remember which studio but will post when I find them.

Congratulations on your achievement.  Any information on specific theaters would be great.  Though I live near NYC the number of theaters and distance (cost) to get there would need a better location and times.  Steve Silvers #590

Nice looking car from the pictures.  However I am somewhat curious since I can see only one pedal which appears to be the brakes but no clutch or gas pedals and this is definitely a standard transmission.

Also has Cadillac horn button and after market turn signal switch.

I have the exact same T-shirt among my collection that I bought at an Eastern Division meet in 1964-5 and has never been worn.  At the time this was the logo for the Club, at least for the Eastern Division.

Shirt has also never been worn.

Kaiser block letters on trunk don't appear to be correct.  he Kaiser lettering on the trunk should be script not block letters.  These letters appear to be from 47-50 models.

General Discussion / Re: Frazer Emblem - JE SUIS PRET -
« on: March 11, 2015, 08:49:13 PM »
The Frazer was designed to be a standard front engine rear drive car from the start (Graham Paige).  However, the Kaiser was originally designed to be a front engine, front drive car  to distinguish it as  the new design and the future of the automobile.  Kaiser ran into trouble getting it into production and reverted to the same drive train as  the Frazer.  This resulted in the two cars being basically the same except for some minor details and the resulting lack of public perception that they were different offerings from the company.  The Buffalo with its front half looking more powerful than the rear legs was chosen to represent the front dive of the Kaiser as well because it also represented the western part of the country where Kaiser was known as the western industrialist.

It might be interesting to note that from interviews with Kaiser executives in the 1960's bulletins, there was serious discussion about badging the 51 Kaiser  as the Frazer and the HenryJ as the Kaiser to maintain both names.  Since Frazer had left the company, Kaiser killed this idea.

This would have been a tragedy to have been scrapped.  Thanks for saving it!
