National meet recap
« on: July 10, 2017, 08:45:26 AM »
After spending a day in Phoenix where the temperature never dipped below 100F, we arrived yesterday in Prescott to much cooler weather, it was in the upper 80s by late afternoon. About 100 members and guests are here already with more due to arrive today. Some would have rolled in last evening but wildfires south of the hotel closed the main highway, US17, so they've been delayed.

Attached is a picture of just a few of the cars.

We'll post more as the week unfolds.

Update - our new national officers are:

President - Gordie Chamberlin
Vice President - Mark Steele
Secretary - Linda McManama
Treasurer - Steve Hermesch

114 folks registered for the Thursday banquet
36 cars registered so far
And for the record, temperatures here in Prescott have not exceeded 100!

Congratulations & good luck to the new officers, also, much appreciation to the outgoing crew for taking a turn at the helm.

Jim:

Great pictures of some great looking cars.  Unfortunately, I didn't see any Willys Aeros in this batch of pictures.

Thanks for posting,

I really hope to have Old Toby back up and running and at the National next year. Maybe we'll beat the record of 6 Aeros at St Louis in 1986 (really? 31 years ago?).
