'54 KM jack, jack handle, base

I can't find any info on where the jack is stored in a '54 KM. Nor do I have one for my car.  I don't see any possible brackets in the trunk that would accept a jack. Can anyone help?

Don't know about the 54's, but in my 51 the jack, base and handle are just lying loose in the trunk...no brackets there either...

That is correct; While the Traveler and Vagabond utility cars (the hatchbacks) often had the jack parts stored in their side compartments, the last sedans to have a special mounting for the jack parts were the 1950 models.   Often, dealers set the jack stand, etc, on the "shelf" trunk area of 1951-55 Kaisers.     The photo attached shows where the Ford people writing up a "Competitive Intelligence Report" on the 1952 Kaiser Virginian found the car jack stand.   It was put there by the dealer as part of the retail delivery preparation activity.

There's no mount for the jack in an Aero either.
I used some super strong rare earth (neodymium) magnets to mount mine on the hump over the axle. I think they are about 30mm x 2mm, lots of different sizes on ebay. I  stacked two at each spot for extra grip, one wasn't quite strong enough.

Well that's about the strangest thing I've ever heard---that a car manufacturer would just throw the jack and stuff loose in the trunk to just rattle around!

Many owners stow it under the spare tire and cinch it down with the wing nut. There is no mention of jack storage in the 1951 owners manual.  That was the official location of the jack storage on the 1965 Mustangs also and Henry J jacks were loose in the trunk as well.

The jack assembly was originally boxed but with most owners, the box was quickly discarded and the parts were scattered in the trunk.
