Remember, none of the mat books or sheets were showroom handouts either but are mentioned here.  Even the subject title includes memorabilla and accessories besides literature.  I think we are still within being on point based on the title but I agree that a new department should be set up for showroom display materials.

Wall and window posters are impossible to scan on a small scanner.  You can't keep them straight enough to scan them.  Maybe if you cut them into 8 1/2 X 11 pieces.  But who would cut up an original.  I have a couple of them but they will not be cut or folded.

You were fast ... When I called on it that first day, you had already scooped it up!!  Congratulations.  Why don't you send it to me for scanning and posting on CIRCLEKF.  Then we can all enjoy it.  I will send it back to you after scanning.  PROMISE.   :D

Well Gordie took me up on my offer ... GULP ... what a scan.  Four scans for each page and pasting them back together.
THANKS Gordie ... now everyone can enjoy this great piece of literature.

For many years I also had to take larger items (like 2-page magazine ads or dealer tabloids) scan them in sections and then stitch them together and resize the finished product for catalog and other uses in 8 1/2 x 11 size.  Unfortunately, one of the last Windows 7 updates changed enough critical code to make the Cannon-based soffware useless.  Barbara and I have discussed taking various items to Office Depot or Fed Ex/Kinkos to have a master scanned on a larger scanner with finished product going on a flash drive and resizing for use off that.  We can't do things like that very often as cost adds up quickly.

Once again, Jim Betts has come to the rescue by using his abilities and resources.  I only wish "stitch" came back so I could do these kinds of things and even help Jim out.
