« on: March 19, 2011, 06:44:42 PM »
Need two left rear window regulators for a '51 Frazer.  Hollanders indicated ICW '49-50 Kaiser.

Thanks, and these appear by the part number to fit the '49 sedan and according to Hollanders Interchange are same as '51 Frazer, but must be sedan only as these are unfortunately different.  Thanks for posting; it was the first bite I've had thus far.

As I took it from the Ebay ad, you would have to buy all 4 regulators (for a complete car) but only one, the one for the left rear, would match what you want. You could then re-sell the LF, RF, and RR regulators if you had no use for them. Are you looking for a regulator(s) for something OTHER than a sedan, like a Hardtop or convertible with the hydraulic lifts, and they are different from a manual crank regulator?? Otherwise, somehow I'm just not getting your point, and I'm now confused. If these are for a 49-50, and it crosses with a 51 Fraser which was still using the same body, how is it different?

Are you looking for sedan regulators or for a hardtop? If sedan, all 49-50 KF and F will fit the 51F. I've swapped 'em. The hardtop is unique to the hardtop...the Virginian manual regulators will work...but are just as scarce!

This '51 Frazer hardtop had electro-vaccum power windows when we got the car. We are converting to roll-up windows and already have all three done but the left rear. I used some parts from a '51 Vagabond parts car. I don't know how to post a picture here but can for sure email a photo out.  It is the 4-door '51 Frazer hardtop. After almost three years, we have yet to find a left front vent window assembly for a second '51 hardtop. We have talked to at least one K/F vendor over this period of time and this vendor thinks he has one or more, but claims there is too much other stuff in front of where the vent windows could be to move the stuff and look. But right now a left rear window regulator is most critical and actually we need one for both '51 hardtops.

I am confused...does a 51 Vagabond have a regulator on the left rear door?

No Ben, I used parts for the other doors. However, the door would open on this Vagabond to access the spare wheel.
