Fuel pump rebuilders.

It looks like I may need a fuel pump on my '51. I see Kanter and others who rebuild these pumps.
Is there a general opinion of who does the best quality work? There is a big list in Hemmings for
this, but I prefer KFOC members recommendations.

Terrill Machine Inc., 1000 C.R.454, DeLeon, Texas 76444. Phone 254.893.2610. They did the fuel pump in my 1935 Packard last October, it is perfect! They are wonderful to deal with, especially on oddball stuff!

I had 'Then and Now Automotive' do my Dual Action Fuel Pump for my Henry J and it came out great. I thought it was reasonably priced as well. I know a couple of other KFOCI individuals have purchase their rebuild kits for fuel pumps and had good results.

I found out that the fuel pump must be screwed together to be able to be rebuilt. My"51 has a
AC fuel pump that was a crimped together style from later years. So I need a "core" for trade in
that many rebuilders do not provide. Kanter does at a $29 core charge so that's what I'm doing.
We'll see how this turns out. They say they provide a lifetime warranty by the way.
