1952 Kaiser Virginian for sale on ebay
« on: January 29, 2009, 03:12:39 PM »
I have a 1952 (left over 1951 I understand) Virginian for sale. The car is about 90% restored and is in great condition. Many new and spare parts. This car needs a good new home, it was owned by a KF member I believe who passed away in 2002 and has been sitting in a heated garage since. The car has been started and run every week or so. You can reach me at PMEnterprises@hotmail.com I will figure out how to attach pictures here and post some shortly, Thanks, Phil

A couple of quick notes this morning while I have a minute. The car is located in Minnesota, Just north of the Twin Cities. I can deliver it pretty much anywhere in the lower 48 for a reasonable price. Still working on the pictures should be able to get them posted and a link to them later today. Thanks, Phil

It is finally Saturday, You Just have to love the weekends!! OK, Sorry that I started this thread with out all of the information, but I am still working my way thru all of the paperwork that goes with the car and there is no kidding over 2 feet of the stuff (Yes I measured it with a tape measure, least anyone suggest I used some other device). Here is what I know as of today. The car was sold in 1991 from one KFmember to another, and it has been restored to about 90% - 95% complete) It has the Continental spare tire kit, it was professionally repainted to the factory colors for a 1952 Virginian. It has many new parts(NOS I believe) including a steering wheel with the chrome Kaiser piece for the center and new headliner which both need to be installed. The seats have been recovered in the correct fabric. There are too many other parts to list, but the include 4 carbs, at least three radios, lots and lots of trim, engine parts, a spare hood, books, manuals, receipts, and notes going back 30 years or more. It has a clear title and has allways been stored covered in a heated shop. Price is 10.5k Firm to a KF member for everything, and there is a lot, Check out the pictures, Thanks, Phil

Thanks Gordie!! It is a nice automobile. I am tempted to keep it myself but my wife would be slightly displeased with me and I am out of room in my shop as it is. I am sure that someone in this club must remember Dave Schroder, I am certain he was a member but have as of yet not come across anything with his member number on it. I have been concentrating on the paperwork that deals with the mechanical aspects of it first. Is this the right place to be listing the car for sale, are there other web sites that deal with older cars that you know of by chance?? Phil

If you put the car in an eBay auction you will get maximum exposure in a week and you can put a reserve or starting bid on the car.  Hemmings Motor News is the best magazine to list your car in but like all magazines it will take a couple of months lead time before the ad comes out.  The Kaiser Frazer Club Bulletin is free to members and your ad there will be seen by many K-F enthusiasts and you might try a local ad in your hometown newspaper.  Transporting cars can be a big project.  Good luck!  I hope you can find a way to keep it.
