These are fairly common.  For a Kaiser you want the single bulb type (one circular mark in the center of the lens)...2 bulb types were used on Frazers as they had a separate bulb for turn signal function.  Directional signals were not offered on the early Kaisers although a number of aftermarket kits could be purchased.  Turn signals became a dealer installed option in 1949-50 & became part of the Accessory Group for Kaisers in the 1951 model year.

Yes, there is a difference.  If you'll look closely on the one you have, there is a small "R" on one of the top corners if you have the passenger side.
