It's actually a '49 or '50 Kaiser. Cardinal is not a color I've seen very often on the 'color models.'

I like the visor over the windshield. I think these were added to the car were they not?  Did people normally paint them the same color as the car or did they come in a standard color?

Exterior visors were an accessory item that could be added by the dealer. They were usually painted the car color.
