DOOR HANDEL RETURN SPRINGS

When my door handles wont return it is caused by a 1/2 inch diameter spring being broken. It is a dangerous condition as the door may not be securly locked.  the complete assembly is available from Rudy Phillips for 20.00 + shipping. I do have the ABILITY TO REPLACE JUST THE SPRING BUT WHERE CAN I FIND NOS OR NEW MANUFACTURE>

Hi Mike,  the door handle springs are for 53-54 Kaiser Manhattans i have,. all but 1  has the driver and r/f broken.   right now I need 12 springs to fix all of them. 6 neded now . I have my all vinyl dragon to be completed (body off) will be done this month along with the 54 man that goes to all the meets and a 53 2 door (all black) that i picked up in Oakland last summer, it has only 56000 miles and sat in storage since 1961 along with a copy of the original owners title.

dusty, the spring number is 207849 and was used on all 51-55 cars so they shouldn't be hard to find.  I thought I had one laying on the bench I was going to send you but ouldn't find it.  Terry Zeug has 2 on his list for $1 each.  Check with Larry Barker, he's sure to have all of them that you need.  Good luck.
