The link that Custom posted is the 6V elec. fuel pump I have on my 51 Kaiser.  When I feel vapor lock coming on, I flip the under dash switch on and no more vapor lock.  I can leave it on or turn it off depending if the car is acting up in the southern California heat.  Fuel will pass through it when off, so it does not always need to be on unless you want it to be.  I recommend it if you have vapor lock issues.

A person would think I had stock in Rock Auto, just bought the fuel pump and some switches and stuff, their prices always seem good and they ship quickly, the correct place to place these pumps is inline between the tank and mechanical pump, am I correct in that?

Place in below the tank so that it will never start dry and place a filter directly before it .Even a small amount of rust from the tank or lines will cause rapid wear. Turn it on just a half minute of so before starting after a lay up to prime the carb. It starts right up. If you use it all the time it's pressure is over the amount recommended for your carb and you may need a regulator to prevent flooding.
