WOW!! If only I had the time, money, expertise, space and inclination. But what a car, wish there was a shot of the dash - the only thing that we KFers might recognize.

Can't believe someone ruined a perfectly beautiful auto.

There are plenty of 54 Kaisers. We see many for sale and there are few buyers so it's OK.
I found it interesting that they kept the stock Kaiser gauges.
Personally I think the styling is horrible for a custom because it just goes on and on out back.

This custom has been built in the 1950's "lead sled " style and they were quite popular sixty years ago. That is not the first radical custom created from a Kaiser. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and it will never be everyones favorite but obviously much money and effort went into it's creation. Enjoy it for what it is. It did get entry into one of the nations top auto shows and I'll bet that we will see more of it.

It has been invited to many upcoming shows, including Cleveland this weekend.
Ironically, the trailer it was in had me blocked-in during the end of show trailer loading at Cobo Hall in Detroit.

I guess I'll see it here in Cleveland. It's not my cup of tea, but it wasn't my wallet that paid for it either!
