I just read an overview of the first production Darrin. It stated that the early Darrins had Darrin script on the front fenders and no script on the trunk, only a medallion. The photos of the restored car bear this out. My question: is there any documentation as to how many cars came that way. Mine is number three. So before I get all excited about medalions and script, I would like to know the definitive answer if there is one. It may not matter either way as I am not planning a 100% show car but I have the opportunity to get it right with your help.Thanks, Steve
