'54 Special Fuel-line
« on: March 21, 2018, 12:29:08 PM »
Have searched the site for a photo of the location/routing of the fuel-line from the pump to the carburetor with no success. Would someone please post a photo of one? Thanks

Don't have a picture readily available but when routing the line try to stay away from the exhaust manifold as much as possible to avoid the dreaded vapor lock.

Pics. One from my '54 Manhattan (fuel line enters rear of carburetor) and one from my '54 Late Special (fuel line enters at the front). Note the in-line fuel pressure regulators for the added electric pump. I don't worry about "judging" so this is the way these lines have been routed for over twenty years.
The Manhattan line is a rubber hose  entering the rear of the carb.
The Late Special is the metal line entering the front.
