Seller says it's a 52 but it looks more like a 53 to me.

Now cmon Mark.  Very cool project Willy’s but would you really beat me up over an asking price comment?!   

Personally with my small garage this one would interest me (and it’s fairly close) but how did the seller decide on $4000?   
No old cars owned.

The description (if correct) includes a comment about the gold emblem; if so, this would make it a 1953.  It is the stand-out visual difference between 1952 and 1953 model years.

One has to wonder how much gold anodizing would be left on the emblem if it's been stored in the trunk with the rest of the "restoration" parts.
From what's shown the sheet metal looks pretty good...…….. but definitely priced optimistically.
