Well! Talk about "Presentation Grade!" As for actually using those parts on the highway, a well known KF member used those Hot Rod parts and eventually returned to factory parts.

I see the Red Baron. I, along with thousands of other kids in the 60's, built that model and still have it. The engine bay on the green car in Custom's post is very clean. The air cleaners are Edmunds, I believe. They were reproduced several years ago. I was lucky to get one on a Stromgerg 97 with the '40 ford pickup I bought at a garage sale in '88. it now has an Edmunds two pot manifold and another original Edmunds air cleaner. Originally they were oil bath but mine have filters in them now. It looks like the ones in the green car have been modified to filters as well. Steve

The car belongs to John Walker.  I judged that car at KFOC National in Auburn back '04. It was in the modified class and it was clean as a whistle. It scored quite high.  Very nice work.
