« on: August 07, 2008, 04:22:48 PM »
I recently inherited a 47 Frazer Manhatton from my grandma. My grandpa had restored the car in 85 and it ran until about 94. it's in great shape and i've got it running now but the master cylider is bad. im looking for repair parts. if anyone could help i would apreciate it. I dont have alot of access to a computer. but i'll try to check in daily. Thanks

Rudy Phillips at 1-760-789-3608 should have the parts that you need to overhaul or replace your master cylinder.  Congratulations on your new Frazer ownership, it is a fine car.  Be sure and join the club and you will get a nice monthly newsletter with a large classified section with lots of K-F parts available.

You should be able to get the parts through your local NAPA store. Master cylinder: Wagner MC2796 (in small letters below it has: (F2796). And the rear wheel cylinders, which are one-inch all the way thru: Raybestos 14068 and 14069
1953 Henry J Corsair Deluxe
Edgar Kaiser's custom 1951 Henry J
1951 Kaiser Special
1952 Allstate Deluxe

Thanks guys. I never would have thought to check Napa being a 60 year old car. i'll go buy there monday and check it out. I know i'll have alot more questions down the road, but i'd like to get it driving and stoping for the town parade next weekend. my family is being honored as family of the year, and i know my 88 year old grandmother would be very excited to ride in it again.

i dont know what your master cylinder looks like but i put a ford master cylinder kit in my 1947 i got the info off of kaiser bills cross referance page and it works great the kaiser rebuild kit i got didnt pump up and when i looked at the old parts i relized the old one was a ford kit.
