If one ever gets the chance, stop by the Bancroft library at UC Berkeley and ask to see the Kaiser files. There are several dozen...yes dozen...boxes of files from Kaiser-Frazer, Kaiser-Willys, and Kaiser Industries that were donated to the library. I had the chance to spend several hours there a few years ago and marveled at what they had. I actually held, in my hand, the agreement between Dutch Darrin and HJK for the Darrin design and royalty payment. Artwork, design drawings, business papers, and more are part of the vast collection. Unfortunately, one could only view the documents, none could be removed, for obvious reasons. They did make copies for us...at $1 a page which limited the number to just a few for those of us who visited.
