« on: April 05, 2014, 08:24:27 PM »
WELL i got a used spring from Rudy and put it in. when i did i broke the front bolt.  Rudy said that he had never herd of the bolt that i was talking about so i am turning to y'all for some help.  dose anyone have an early 47 rear spring front bolt that has a round head on one end that they could sell to me?

I'm gonna have to crawl under my 47 to see if mine has the same bolts. I've never seen one like that!

Yes, this shows quite well in the 47-48 Body & Chassis parts list.  I've had a lot of early hardware in a past life but never one of these.  You might have to replace it modern hardware; shouldn't be difficult.

So I checked both of my 47s and they have the same nut/bolt combination. I learned something new!
