Correct Color
« on: April 26, 2014, 08:47:49 PM »
My 1949 Kaiser is out being painted Caribbean Coral. I saw a 1947 Kaiser on the calendar that is two toned. I think my car would look good with a tan top like the 47 on the calendar but would want it correct. Can anyone tell me if a 1947 was offered as a two toned car or not?

Kaiser specials were not two-toned through the 1951 model year by the factory.  While there was factory information to dealers about their two-toning of customer Henry J's, no such approval/information was passed on to dealers for Kaiser Specials.

Kaiser Customs for 1947 and 1948 were also NOT offered in two-tone versions; two tones were reserved by the factory for Frazer Manhattans only those model years.
