I used to have a different version that Don Noska offered for sale in the 1970's.  It just had the K emblem and built to better the best on it.  In time it just deteriorated.

The ebay ones are coming out of Utah - wonder if Kaiser Bill has anything to do with them? I too have a Don Noska cover that has deteriorated in the past 35 years.

Many years ago I bought several fender covers from Don. Not long after, I got a letter from him saying that the manufacturer realized they used the wrong compound for the backing and that they would replace them free of charge. A short time later a box arrived with new covers and a note not to return the old ones. I spoke to Don and he said the backing on the bad units would soon fall apart...and he was right!

I had the same problem, got a replacement fender cover that I have misplaced or given away. I still have and use the one with the backing falling off.
