The difference between reality and asking prices is never more evident than the attempted sale of Henry Js.
Let me show you what a $23,000 Henry J really looks like.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the car that sold at Barret-Jackson circa 2009  for $30,000

I have seen those 1946-7 Ford heaters in other Henry J's.  Are they authentic for a Henry J also?

Gordie, since heaters were optional in the Henry J you do see some aftermarket units in them. It wouldn't surprise me if a dealer/owner installed a Ford heater in one back in the day.  Period correct may be the best way to classify it.

Oh, and the car is down to $15,500 now

When it gets down to around $1,000 I will bid!

The owner wants to recover the $2,000 he has in tires and wheels. The whole car is overpriced for rodders who only want a body and over "ownerized" for people who just want a good Henry J. With stock wheels and tires ,some folks would put up with the odd color and you might see it sell at 11-12k.

It's now $14,250.00. It's only a couple hours from me, but still to expensive for this one.
