Always kind've neat to see custom trucks. Many years ago I stopped along a 2 lane near Olney IL to look at a solid but derelict El Camino type vehicle that appeared to be an early '60's GTO or Tempest. The body work was really quite good, good enough that a body shop friend & I scratched our heads for a month or 2 wondering who or where it was built.

Hudson actually made passenger car based pickups for many years starting in the thirties and ending when the step down 1948's came out although the factory played with the idea of making a pickup out of the step down design and made up a couple and used them at the factory but not for resale.  Those Hudsons were very popular when introduced and you can see how their body design was influenced by the then new 1947 Kaisers and Frazers.
