1950 Kaiser Son
« on: March 24, 2010, 02:15:23 PM »
I own a 1950 Kaiser Son - formerly pink in color - in very poor shape and since it belonged to my aunt I hate to just junk it - we'd like to find out the approximate value and how to sell it.  I don't want to see it just crushed.

I'd be interested in knowing what is meant by Kaiser "Son."  It's not a model I've heard of.  Do you have pictures?  If so, e-mail them to me and I'll post them.  Otherwise, look at the data tag on the firewall and see what the model designation is.  A 1950 Kaiser should be either a model K501 or K502.
It could be a "Horizon Blue" with a broken script. Or possibly "Onyx?"  Let  us know and we'll do what we can to help.

We need the door post serial number tag information as well as the various numbers (please identify the respective headers for them) off the body tag found on the firewall, upper passenger side.  Then we can translate the info into particulars on your car.  1949-50 models were either Kaiser Special models or Kaiser Deluxe models.
