Annual Reports
« on: February 09, 2018, 11:20:34 PM »
Here's the group of earlier annual reports (1945-1949) and the cover for the proxy statement sent out to Graham-Paige stockholders at the beginning of 1947.  It outlines the operations of Graham and K-F as well as what would have happened at Willow Run if the stockholders would not approve Kaiser-Frazer's acquisition of G-P automotive operations per the timetable listed in the material.

The 1952 Willys edition is like a large sales brochure with many pictures of the new Aeros and Jeeps.

If anyone sees a 1945 Annual Report for Willys-Overland, be advised that there is a section in it that "announces" the 6-66 (for 6 cylinder, 66 bhp flathead engine) with pictures of the prototype and features that include a fold/swivel front seat to allow more room for rear seat passengers to sit in.   I had a copy that I loaned to Brooks Stevens for something he was working on at the time of his death & never got it back.

I recently found this annual report and it has a cover and  center fold pages with nice red color drawings of the proposed Frazer.  Originally the idea was to use three horizontal bars for the bumpers similar to the 1934 Chrysler Airflow.  There are also many photos of the development and production of the first Frazer car.  I had owned the centerfold for many years but could never find out what publication it came from.  Later editions of Graham-Paige annual reports are related to their owning the Madison Square Garden complex and other investments.
