Condenser
« on: February 11, 2018, 05:42:23 PM »
I'm wanting to replace all the condensers under the hood. The forum mentioned that the part number from Napa is SA174, but I called and they have no such number. I think there 3-4, can I buy repeats of the same number and replace them all, or are they all different? Any other options or part numbers?

Take a look at this...some of these have already superseded to different numbers when I picked them up for my 161.

Sometimes there is a condenser located at the ignition coil (Delco) and the Delco number is DR#1912900 (.5mf).
Also if there is a condenser used on the generator my notes say the Delco number is DR#1911095 (.3mf). This condenser seems to cross with Standard Brand #RC1.  The condenser under the distributor cap is a Delco  DR60x (same as a 1952 Chevrolet).
