1949 Traveler
« on: July 09, 2018, 09:01:57 PM »
Here are some pictures.
1949 Kaiser Traveler. Rust free solid car needs complete restoration. Engine does fire and has had the head surfaced and new head gasket installed. Has a N.O.S. carb, new fuel pump mounted not plumbed and a Pertronix electronic conversion.
Brakes are not locked up and the car rolls freely. Car comes with spare grill bars along with what appears to be rechomed front and rear bumpers still wrapped in the brown paper. The car also has the original bumpers still on the car also.
Car is located in Bakersfield, CA
$1000 obo.
I have tried to post pictures.

$800 is less than the cost to re-chrome a set of bumpers.

Thank you for posting.  And hanging in there with Mr Manhattan your car is offered at a fair price. It is kind of a blank canvas for someone to pick their colors, do the wood on back. But it must be purchased  within a 400 mile radius to make it a good purchase.
No old cars owned.

do the wood on back

This is a Traveler. The Traveler doesn't have wood slats, only the fancier Vagabond did. So that makes even less work.
