I recently purchased many old dealership papers from a former K-F dealer in Indiana and among the items in the package was a letter from former KFOC member Tom Telatco #1115 dated Feb. 10 1970, almost 50 years ago:  Dear Howard,  I was looking in the membership book and noticed that you have among other K's and F's a 1949 Kaiser Virginian also a  1949 Kaiser Vagabond.  Could you please please help me on my project?  I have been sending out these forms for over a month now, and am getting a good response so far.  Dick Langworth and I are trying to get a good list of all of the Virginians, Vags, and convert.  I am sending these two forms for your two 1949K's.  Will you please fill them out and return them??  I have a '49 Virginian myself.  I am looking for a good set of seats for it.  Also need door panels.  Know of any?  Fill the forms out even if the cars are parts cars.  All will help us in our work.  Then watch for your name and cars in the Quarterly.  Always your friend, Tom #1115  It appears that the registry of our cars have been a long process and thanks for keeping them up and available to members.

Was browsing 'down here' and noted your thread.  Always interesting to find these historical and otherwise lost correspondence.  I hope you enjoyed looking through all of those papers.
No old cars owned.

My father and Tom were acquaintances and they would visit from time to time. Tom not only had a hardtop but he also owned a 51F convertible that was involved in an accident where it was hit at the center door post causing quite a bit of damage. Parts were found and the car was repaired. I believe the car still exists.

Tom's Virginian is still registered to him in the registry. I am aware of a hardtop parked in a garage - next to a Packard hardtop - in the same area where he lived. I wonder if it's the same car...
