Pair 1951 Henry J Finliner Tail Lights for Sale - SOLD
« on: March 17, 2019, 06:33:11 PM »
This is a pair of after market Henry J taillight housings/lenses for 51 HJ and 52 HJ Vagabond.  While the set is NOS, there are conditions issues with the chrome housings and the lenses.  The housings are not pitted but will need to be rechromed due to inferior chroming on original pot metal for show car or use as-is on daily driver.  Easy rechroming to remove outer surface and rechrome since no pitting.  Housings are in otherwise great shape with no other defects.

Lenses are interchangeable L&R.  While NOS, one has some minor crazing (hard to see) and the other has a small chip on the outside corner.  It could easily be filled with some clear silicone (w/red dye added).

I've tried to capture these defects in the pics.  These are VERY hard to find in any condition.

$45 plus $10 shipping (very heavy) and they will be well wrapped.

Contact me with questions or interest:  mbfleming@aol.com

The ad says "Easy to install - just 2 screws"
I'm assuming that there is some sheet metal "trimming" involved also?  :)

Yes, there is cutting of the top of the fenders involved.  Our Club VP Mark Steele has an excellent thread on Facebook on the "Kaiser Frazer Automobile Page" showing his recent installation on his 51 HJ.  I'm sure Mark would help anyone with technical assistance or advice with installation if asked.

Here is the link to the Group FB Page.  I think you have to be a member so not sure this link will work but you can find it and request to join if you aren't already a member.

In fact, I had one more set with perfect lenses Mark bought from me as "spares."

Type "Finliners" in the search field on the left side.  They look awesome!!!

Appears to be.  :(
And I thought that I was the only person on the planet who is not a Facebook member.  ;)
