Visor Removal
« on: June 06, 2019, 07:22:59 PM »
I have placed this on the Frazer page mainly because it doesn't see a great deal of activity. My question is, can the metal windshield visors added to so many Kaisers and Frazers be removed without requiring body or paint work? I seem to be in the minority but I feel this accessory detracts from the cars' overall aesthetics. I often see K-F's I might consider buying but more times than not they seem to be equipped with these contraptions. Oops, i am sure I have stepped on some toes, so I apologize ahead of posting this!

The one I have and have not installed it yet, has 6 screws at the center of the roof right above the middle of windshield.  Those would have to repaired and the roof repainted.  I purchased mine from someone who did not want to put those holes in his roof.  I like the idea and look of the visor on my car and will put it on this summer.  It's all painted and ready to go.

Some attach to the center windshield post and the front rain gutters not causing a problem with removal.  Check the car that you are interested in and it will be easy  to see how it is attached.
