Henry J windshield glass
« on: February 01, 2011, 05:34:27 PM »
Here's one I am almost sorry to ask about.  Barbara got into a discussion on the windshield of a Henry J.  I thought these were two pieces of flat glass while Barbara believes they are curved.  I loaned my 51HJ illustrated parts book out some time ago and never got it back (another reason why I am reluctant to loan items out anymore) so I could not look it up.  Who is right?  I have nothing to indicate one way or another.

My 53 Henry J has two pieces of flat glass.  It is an interesting shape but it is flat.

This diagram is from the illustrated 1951 Part Manual.

That manual illustrations and their keys are online by the way if you need to reference anything else in it.
