Thanks for bringing this topic back up. I wonder what happened to the Missouri 096 Dragon. The dealer-seller surely has passed away.  He looked 75 25 years ago.

Yes, I would like to get an Update. This is One of 2 Black Dragons on the Dragon List.

We now have 3 on the Top of the List. Fid Found One in a Salvage. Nothing the # it was a few more early on assembly line than the other 2 .

Everyone,You may look at Pictures in Cars For Sale or Wanted section:
1953 Onyx colored Dragon For Sale. It was Posted by 51 FrazerManhattan Date was 3-14-2012.
This is Black Dragon At a Lot just out of Kansas City, Mo.
I also wanted to add Both had the Back Glass Wiper & was For Years 2 First Dragons on Dragon List. Few Black Dragons was made.

Thanks G.B. for your research. I will have to take some time to read that thread, but it appears sold and now we don't know where it's at but at least it is not at that dealer.

Note : Not on Dragon List. It would be good to get shot of Firewall Paint & Trim, Body Run. Glove Box has Built For & get The Name.

Yes shows a lot of Ivory 097 & Trim 5308 produced during this Run.

I was looking at the Engine Picture. I don’t see a Power stearing Unit. It should be right above the Generator right side ? Anyone else notice that ?
Could be in a Box not Showing?

Note: can’t take a Back Door of a 53 Manhattan use it on a Dragon.

GB: Why wouldn't the passenger doors fit?

On the Assembly Line the Doors was hardest to Set.

The curve on the Back Doors is Different on Dragon vs Manhattan. I know of One Person that Did it, but Lots of Work.

I always wanted to Know if Manhattan & Kaiser Special was Same that Year.

Well, I spoke to the Missouri Dealer that had the Onyx Dragon. He said "oh my gosh, I sold that car several years ago."  So it's out there somewhere.  I think our friend in So Cal may have it but I am not sure.
