Looks like I may have to turn in my membership card! It is of course a 1952 Kaiser Manhattan with a continental kit on it. My bad!
The only reason I had that movie in the first place is that on the version I have, it appears that the cast is photographed leaning on the nose of a Tucker which appears to have been painted a dark color, possibly black with orange flames on the side in the style of many '50's hot rods. I wanted to see if this was a fantasy image or if the car was really in the movie in this paint scheme. It isn't in the movie. So I'm stuck with this movie, but since it has "our" car in it (and a Willys Aero, too, I think) I'll hang on to it.
