Hi Bill - If you're talking about the 2 pieces by the hood latch, they are original to the car, just cleaned up a bit. I would suggest one of the usual vendors, perhaps they were used on HJ's also. I'm not sure though.

Bill - I was just on ebay and noticed Terry Zeug, in California, has one of those pieces listed!

Hi Bill,

I think you are looking for the Headlight Terminal Block
http://circlekf.com/kflit/kfpartresults.php?q=201598
If I am not mistaken it is Part No. 201598 -  That Part Number is shown in 47-48 K-Fs, Henry Js and Darrins.
Also Note that Terry Zeug has that part in stock.

If that is the piece you are looking for, you can get them brand new at www.northstarwillys.com and Walcks 4WD website - I don't remember the link but if you google "Walcks 4 WD" I'm sure you'll find it.
www.kaiserwillys.com may have it too.

Based on what Fid said, I did some internet searches and came up with the following:

Kaiser Willys has it:  http://www.kaiserwillys.com/product/212/willys-jeep-electrical-headlights-parts-accessories

Walcks 4 Wheel Drive as well: http://walcks4wd.com/fender-terminal-or-junction-bl.html

Could not find Northstar Willys online catalog.

Hope this helps.

The porcelain terminal blocks are available from Studebaker restoration parts. I will find my book and give the part #. They are exact replica of original part.

You guys are the best. Thanks for the great links. I got one!!! Very nice piece. Now, can you tell me where I can find one knurled (nut) piece for the winshield wiper stud than the arm presses onto? Any other Kaiser car have the same or HJ product?Help!!!
Thanks as always #353 is coming back to life (slowly but beautifully)

May I suggest that a new thread be started for new info/parts needed.
This thread was for a Darrin that was just restored and somehow it keeps being used for other subjects.

For example, if you are looking for parts, post it in the parts wanted part of the forum with the item named.  In this fashion, someone in the future that may need the same part can see it in the title and get the answer.

This current thread has been bastardized way too often for means other than its original intent.

Gary,
What is the composition of the carpet for a Darrin (wool, synthetic), color?, Loop? Is it bound on the edges? Same color? Also, where did you get new pedal pads for clutch/brake? Sources.
Thanks,

Hi Bill - The pedals came from Rudy Phillips, 2136 Walnut St., Ramona, CA 92065. Phone is 1.760.789.3608. If his info has changed I'm sure someone will advise. The carpet was in the car, it's some type of loop with color matched binding. Hopefully someone can help with what type of material it is made of, I can't seem to find the info but I maintain a collection of 36 cars and sometimes I can't even find them! Also, don't forget to try the manufacturing fund thru the club.

Gary.
