need cylinder head and door handle
« on: September 24, 2009, 01:03:33 PM »
Hello everyone, I am looking for a cylinder head for a '48 Kaiser with the 226.  I also need an exterior driver's side front door handle.  If anyone has any of these items for sale, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hello, Rudy Phillips should have both of those parts in his inventory.  You can call him at 1 760 789 3608.  Ask him to send one of his catalogs also.  It is loaded with K-F items.

Hi Lisa, I have 2 heads for I believe a 49 kaiser, 1 is a supersonic head, I'm not sure if the 49 is the same, do you have numbers on yours to compare...Let me know...Steve   smav@charter.net

The cylinder heads are not all the same. There was a higher compression head that was used on Frazer Manhattans and possibly some Kaiser Customs or Deluxes. The 1948 Kaiser would have the lower compression head. I don't know if it will be a problem if you replace the lower compression head with the higher compression - probably not. You'll likely appreciate the increase in power.
