Parking light sockets

Does any one have any light sockets that will fit the 1158 light bulb.  If you have them I need 2.   So far I've not found any on the internet and that includes EBay. Although XL Parts gave a list of them so far I've found any around. Please help.

Have you tried Ron Francis wiring? They have some for the 1154 socket which fit the tail lights on the later Henry Js. I did not look at everything they have but it may be worth checking.  Good quality parts.

I called Bob Adams Jake and he said he doesn't have any of the correct ones either.  Used them all up.  Wow what a job finding these parts for the  Darrin but I'll keep looking  Thanks for your help.  Richard

Sorry Jake but I'm not looking for the parking light lens.  I'm looking for the parking light socket that will use the 1158 bulb.  Thanks dfor the offer but I have 2 extra lens that I'll probably sell some time in the future.  But thanks anyway.  Richard

Come on guys.  The parking lights are in the front of the Darrin, as they are with any car that I've ever owned.  They have 2 elements one for the turn signal and one(dim) one for parking.  All I've been able to find so far is the socket that will take a 1154 bulb I believe that has the offset pins.  Using that socket will not be right for the Darrin.  I need a socket that will  take the 1158 bulb which has pins straight across.  The one place I've not check is Irma Walker. nor have I checked with Larry Barker.  I'm about to call Mike Barker if I can get him and see if by any chance of my imagination, does he have them.  Oh, well such as life.  Just hang in there it will get better.  Have a nice day y'all.  Richard

Simple solution is to use the 1154 base and a 1154 bulb

That is a good solution and you can also file one of the pins off as the bulbs will work just fine with one pin.

Based on the grooves visible on  the side, you would have to turn the bulb to the left. I believe you have to push it in and turn it to the left as it is spring loaded.

Soak the bulb/ socket with whatever you have to loosen the crap. I have used a piece of heater hose to grip the bulb. I have also ripped the glass out then used needle nose pliers to rip the brass stub out.

I have also resorted to just breaking the glass on the bulb and then grabbing the base with a needle nose pliers and twisting/turning it out of the socket. Or, cut the base out after breaking the glass.
