The famous "Alstep" is for sale again. It was in MN for a couple of years and now it's in New York. Seems to be the car no one wants. I wonder why?  I have to wonder if it's because the owners/buyers snatch it up thinking they're going to make a fast buck.

It appears to have the wrong engine, no emblems, wrong color, upholstery and hubcaps and although probably a running car it would take a lot of money to make it authentic.  Allstate emblems and hubcaps are very hard to find.  I ended up buying a whole car just to get the needed parts for mine.

This car is the misbegotten child of Satan and Christine, CURSED,CURSED. Stay away or the curse will follow you. You will have to change the master cylinder or just as bad fill it on your Henry J or ALLSTATE or you will wring off the  manifold bolt nearest to the firewall or your clutch operating arm will jam against your oversized tires on a hard left turn and on... and on ...and on....
