Starting problem

1951 Kaiser Deluxe

The car has always been good at starting even after sitting for a while but I spent 3 months down South but when I returned it wouldn`t start.
It turns over but just won`t kick in.
Battery is charged, it has an electric fuel pump and getting gas, checked the plugs for spark and are OK, cylinder compressions are all OK except for one which is around 60.
Poured fresh gas into carb. and a little into the cylinder head.
Plugs and points are clean. Reset the points.
Still won`t start.
Any suggestions?

What are the compression readings? Maybe the cylinder walls are washed from gas. Let the engine dry with the plugs out or blow air in the spark plug holes. Try putting a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder. Then see if the compression comes up.
