I see this goes back to 2007....

Kaiser-Frazer sold a number of Travelers or Vagabonds to smaller towns and villages for police or fire work.  In July 1949, Kaiser-Frazer Sales Corporation sent a folder to dealers featuring various special equipment items (radios, lights, siren, ambulance gear, etc) that dealers could order direct from the manufacturers as an aid in setting up quotes on cars and getting equipment the dealer could have installed.

K-F also produced several "demonstrators" set up with the equipment that went to trade shows or other events where police and fire chiefs visited.   The price to the dealer on one of these cars (based on inventory in the NJ/NYC area) was just over $2,700 dollars...again this was wholesale and for a Vagabond demo.
