I'm new to these cars, and don't really know anything about them. This one sat in my backyard for 3 years, and I've only just now gotten it running and driving. The hood release worked about the first five times, then the handle detached from the cable and came out. It seems like someone else had this problem, as it appeared that the cable was soldered to the handle itself. I'm not sure whether this can be fixed or I have to replace the entire thing. If so, where could I purchase one?
