47-48 Kaiser taillights - left or right?

I bought a pair of NOS 47-48 Kaiser taillight assemblies and found the parts book shows different part numbers for left & right. They are not marked, just top. Measuring from the outside left of the chrome bezel to the center of the red circle in the lens is 3 inches. From the right side measuring inward it is 2-3/4" Do I have two lefts or two rights?

I think you have two lefts but to be honest, if you have a left and right side mount pad, they can be used on either side. The lens button will be out of place on the right side, but it'll fit and work. I've done it.

Look closely at the top corners of the lenses for the R or the L.

Thanks for the help guys! I have two lefts. Didn't notice the small L on front of the lens. Have a chance to pick up some more of these this weekend. Will have to look for rights!

When "driving", three (3) "LEFTS" make a "RIGHT".
Conversely, when "driving", three (30 "RIGHTS" make a "LEFT".

Hi guys, i'm new here and living in Europe,  have a question rightaway:

I bought two, what i belive are,  1947/48 Kaiser taillights with one dot in the lense.
I have seen manny car pics, where a rubber mounting pad for left and right is to be seen, can somebody tell me
where i could buy a set of Mounting pads and Gaskets for these taillights, ?
