That is probably not too high a price for a rare Edmonds set up.  I assume that it is really for the four cylinder engines as it could not fit all of the applications that he mentioned.  Frazer never had a four cylinder engine.

The ad states

  that's the six cylinder engine.

It is definitely for the 6. Here is the Darland one for the 4 and a high comp. head "The Willy Willy" from Australia. The US Army left a host of jeeps there after the war and the engines powered a class of race cars. At one time I tried to get one of the heads shipped here, no luck.

The last shot is a different manifold by "BURNS" for the 4.

That last shot (BURNS) points out the weakest spot in the Henry J engine design. The exhaust valves of #3 and #2  are side by side. The resultant concentration of heat makes for the most frequent head gasket failure and other associated valve problems.

I'm not familiar with those carb numbers but a vintage multi carb specialist told me a while back that two stock 4cyl Carters would be the closest "off the shelf" match for the 161 engine.
Basically, duals need to flow 150 percent of the CFM of the single carb. Anything more and it only runs good at WOT, less results in lack of power and excessive fuel consumption.
