Oil leak from the pump vent hole? The shaft seal for the diaphragm is worn and leaking.

Don't know if this applies to your problem. This happened on an ag tractor with a mechanical pump. The replacement pump came with a gasket that fit the perimeter of the pump and it would leak oil from the vent. The replacement gasket that fixed the issue was full size with just a slot for the mechanical arm. We found the "full size" gasket would prevent oil from splashing out of the vent.
