The only documentable information on a dealership in your community is for THE DELBARTON MOTOR COMPANY, INC. covering the period late 1948-early 1949. While it is possible this dealership (or a different dealer) operated in Delbarton WV before or after that time period, I have nothing (copy of an ad, copy of dealer literature with stamp or name of the dealer on it, etc) to establish the date.
I also have no records of cars delivered retail by that dealership (I only have around 100 or so records inticating when a car went from the factory to distributor or dealer & sold to a retail customer) I could not help you. Factory records, including copies of Retail Delivery Report cards dealers were supposed to send to the factory to document the retail sale were either destroyed in a 1955 fire at Toledo or when the old Willys Motors office building was demolished in the early 1970's. All people were concerned about was saving the history of the Jeep and related products (Kaiser-Frazer and the Aero Willys cars NOT one of those related products) as the years went by.
