1949 Frazer Street Rod Project for sale
« on: February 07, 2011, 06:49:12 PM »
I received a call this evening about a 1949 Frazer that is for sale.   When I returned the call I learned it was a street rod in progress.  The seller told me the car has a Chevy Impala sub frame, a Chev 350 with a turbo hydramatic 400.   The car runs and drives but needs finished.  He said the interior is original and presentable but has had a Cadillac tilt and telescopic column installed.  The bumpers have been removed and the lower panels have been smoothed and rolled. The headlights and tail lights have been frenched into the body. He is asking $5,000 for the car.  It is located in a body shop in Indiana, Pa.  Phone: 412-289-1912

That might be a good project for someone as it seems that a lot of money must have been invested in it already.  It is probably too late to return it to stock but it would be a great head start for some one who wants a rod.
