PICTURES IN OUR WEBSITE
« on: March 10, 2011, 09:27:51 AM »
Thoughout the years, there have been several questions by various Forum users, including me, about how to add pictures.  This makes it obvious to the casual observer that it is not clearly easy.  Oftimes, the answer to those that query, is not immediately solved and another question is raised indicating the complexity.

One thread in the Forum treats the increasing average age of our members.  This exacerbates this complex task.

I firmly believe that it is time that this issue be addressed by revising the system to be more simplier/user friendly.

Suggestions?

I agree.  I am not computer savvy.  On other car club forumss, I can download photos directly from my photos folder on my desktop.  If this process were streamlined I would be very appreciative.

Ditto!  I would love to see examples of all the memberships cars on the web page.  Could we not e-mail photos to the webmaster to load up?  Or else make it where only KFOCI members can load their own photos and descriptions, and let the webmaster approve them so questionable images cannot appear on the web site?

May I recommend that if pics are added, use a low resolution.
I am in the country and still on DIAL-UP!
