I have 2 1953 Kaiser Manhattans near San Antonio that I was going to restore in my retirement. I've owned them for about 6-7 years. They are not complete, but would be close combined together. The glass is all intact and the interiors are decent. I even have the original keychain from one of them. I also hold an original title.
Unfortunately, after a 3 1/2 year divorce, I moved to the most appropriate place-1300 miles from her in Wisconsin! (It was as far as I could go and stay in the US)
The Kaisers were awarded to me, but I have no shop here an they are still in Texas- in my old shop that was awarded to her!
If I don't remove them, she will junk them for scrap metal.
They aren't worth much to me right now, but it would kill me to see them ruined.
