What's on the roof of the cars?  Are they taxis?  If so, I wasn't aware that there were any Frazer taxis--I thought only Kaiser.

Cost wise, the Kaiser would be the preference but even the factory promoted Frazer Taxicabs

This 1948 Frazer taxi and others were converted by a dealer or distributor in NYC and not the factory but they must have certainly influenced the design of the factory made Kaiser taxis.

There are pictures of the car at the experimental engineering garage in Willow run.  If you check the plate, it is a New York state Dealer tag.  The car was based at the factory owned distributorship on Broadway.

Yes, they are dealer plates and not manufactorer or distributer plates.  I have two different images which show a sign on the back door "safe service Frazer Taxicab" and the roof signs say "FRAZER" Maybe this is the prototype for the 1949's?
