KF Products in 1950s Americana

I used to collect comic books when I was younger. One of the most collectible ones I have is the number 1 issue of Dennis The Menace, August 1953 issue published in June 1953.  I haven't looked at it in years, many years, and I was looking through it today and I noticed the artist (Al Wiseman I believe) based some of the drawings of cars he did on KF products. Check this one out. Clearly a 1951 Kaiser hood ornament was the inspiration for this illustration:

And the previous frame shows the rear of the car and the tail lights are clearly '51 Frazer:

I remember reading somewhere that the artist hired to do this first issue colored Dennis' hair wrong, hence the fleshtone part in the middle, but he got the KF parts pretty close.
