Carolina Buffing

Been cleaning up the Carolina as we get the Manhattan Stuff off.
My attempt at a time lapse.

You have to love my 1947 Floor Jack.  It came without an instruction manual and took us a bit to figure out how it works.  But boy can it lift a Kaiser.

What are you using to buff with - pad type, buffer type, compound type?

This is what I did to our Manhattan and was very satisfied with the results.
Dobbing Presta Ultra Polish Part No 133532 onto 4 or 5 square feet of the car.
Using a ATD-10501 7" Polisher with a BuffandShine Grip Pad #2000G - Black Foam Finish to buff it in.
In my heat it is drying so I have a wet microfiber pad to pick of the residue
And then polishing with a Schlegel #1 Buff disc.
Let me know if you have a better solution.

Polish, Paint the Rims and clean up the tires and put the right hubcaps up.

Was this a new paint job, or an older paint job that had not been maintained?

Older Paint job not maintained.  All the tail lights and hood ornaments were on with wing nuts ... wierd.  Eazy fix
